Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of HAUS-SYNC, restaurant food cost and margin intelligence available at haus-sync.com. HAUS-SYNC is built for restaurant businesses — owners, GMs, and chefs — and by creating an account or using the product on behalf of your business, you agree to these terms.

The Service

HAUS-SYNC turns supplier invoices, menu and recipe data, and sales data into a clear view of food cost and margins: current ingredient and recipe costs, recipe margin visibility, dashboards, and reports. We are at an early, private-beta stage and actively building — features may change, improve, or occasionally be withdrawn, with reasonable efforts toward reliability and security throughout.

Your Account and Your Data

• You are responsible for keeping your credentials and devices secure, and for activity under your account.
• Your data stays yours. Invoices, recipes, prices, and sales data you bring to HAUS-SYNC belong to your business. You grant us only the license needed to store and process it to provide the service — nothing more. You can take your data with you (see the export section of our Privacy Policy).
• You must have the right to share the supplier documents and POS data you bring to HAUS-SYNC.
• You can request deletion of your organization's data at any time (see our Privacy Policy).

Acceptable Use

Don't misuse the service: no attempting to access other organizations' data, probing or disrupting the infrastructure, reselling the service, or uploading content that is unlawful or that you have no right to process.

Operating Views, Not Guarantees — Read This One

HAUS-SYNC provides tools and operating views to help with margin, menu, and weekly decisions. It uses AI to read invoices, and AI makes mistakes — we surface confidence levels and a review queue precisely because extraction is not perfect. Costs, margins, and scenario projections are one input into your decisions, not accounting, tax, or financial advice, and we do not guarantee specific revenue, cost savings, or business outcomes. Verify figures that matter before acting on them — especially prices feeding purchasing or menu decisions.

You remain responsible for pricing decisions, staffing, menu changes, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations — including local labor, food safety, and financial rules. HAUS-SYNC is an operating tool, not a legal advisor.

Third-Party Connections

If you connect a point-of-sale or other integration, your use of that platform remains governed by its own terms. Our access is read-only and limited to the data needed for the features you use.

Fees

HAUS-SYNC is currently free while in early access. If and when paid plans are introduced, pricing will be communicated clearly in advance, and you will never be charged without explicitly signing up for a paid plan.

Warranties and Liability

The service is provided "as is" at this early stage, without warranties of any kind, with reasonable efforts toward reliability and security. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which, during free early access, is zero). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You can stop using HAUS-SYNC and request deletion of your organization's data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to export your data.

Changes to These Terms

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify active users by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
